Understanding your metrics and the overarching goals of your organization is a key component to using Pathlight. One of the ways you can really move the needle on those metrics is by using Mini Goals to help meet those larger company-wide goals.
Teams typically have overall goals defined by the organization, these goals (along with prioritizing specific metrics) go into making up your Health Score. Goals around where your CSAT or Total Chats/Emails taken should be at can feel overwhelming. You might be expected to engage in 400 chats in a month. However, you can take some of that daunting feeling out of it by using Mini Goals. Instead of focusing on that large number… take it down a notch and set yourself a Mini Goal of 100 chats per week, or 20 per day. Reframing the way we look at these lofty targets allows us to focus on baby steps and not one giant leap!
You'll find Mini Goals located within the dashboard view. You can easily access any Mini Goals that you (or your manager) have created for yourself here to monitor the progress made towards each one. Mini Goals should be set up on a weekly basis, so make sure to check in as the week progresses to see how close you are to your goal. If you recognize that you might not meet a goal for that week, or that you're already beyond the goal, discuss with your team leader how you can adjust goals to set realistic expectations for your performance.
Here you can see how to set up a Mini Goal in Pathlight, and of course if you have questions our Support team is right here to help you along the way. Reach out to support@pathlight.com if you have any questions about creating and tracking your Mini Goals.
